AMAMCO Tool began manufacturing this Coated Reamer for a major auto maker more than ten years ago. Beginning with the 1996 model year, our customer has used this tool to ream a critical hole in the transmission input/reaction carrier. To ensure repeatability and to maximize regrinding, AMAMCO Tool has to hold dimensions beyond standard tolerances.

As an AMAMCO Tool final inspector, Marian Madison makes sure that every tolerance of every tool is to print. The tool is TiCN coated and must be held to a .0001 tolerance after the coating is applied.

Because of the repeatability provided by the AMAMCO Tool manufacturing process, this customer continues to count on AMAMCO Tool year after year.
